Decimal Number System-Base 10 number system.

Base- It describes number of digits used.

LSD-Least Significant Digit-is the right most digit is called LSD.

MSD- Most Significant Digit-In decimal number system , the left most digit is called the MSD.

Radix - Another term for base of a # system.

Reset and Carry- in a decimal number system it start from 0 to 9 and then it start all over again from 0.The Binary System is a little difference it start from 0 to 1 and then it start over from 0 again.

The Base and Radix- is the key features that distinguishes one number system fro another.

Positional Weight-The position of each digit of a decimal number determines the weight of that digit. A 1 by itself, for instance, is only worth 1, whereas a 1 to the left of three )s makes the 1 woth 1000.

Binary Point- symbol used to seperate the whole from a fraction in a binary #.
